Remember to mark this new musical on your calendar! The Memory Show, starring Leslie Kritzer and Catherine Cox, begins performances on April 16. Directed by Joe Calarco, featuring music by Zach Redler and a book and lyrics by Sara Cooper, the Transport Group production opens officially on April 30 at off-Broadway’s Duke at 42nd Street.
This contemporary new musical tells the story of a daughter (Kritzer) who comes home to care for her aging mother (Cox)—and memory is only one of the land mines the women have to face. Conflicting versions of the past collide in this darkly funny portrait of a mother, a daughter and their inescapable relationship.
The Memory Show features set design by Brian Prather, costume design by Katheryn Rohe and lighting design by Chris Lee.
